Under the overall supervision of the Director of the Transport Division and the direct supervision of the Chief of the Vehicle Regulations and Transport Innovations Section the incumbent will be responsible for the following:

1. Acts as the Division’s focal point on pollutant emissions of motor vehicles and on market fuel quality.

2. Acts as Secretary to the Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE), a subsidiary body of WP.29. This includes:
(a) Preparing, reviewing and editing technical documents that will become new vehicle regulations or amendments to existing ones in the framework of the 3 Agreements administered by the World Forum,
(b) Checking and completing technical documentation submitted by Governments, international organizations and individual experts that will be included into vehicles regulations in the legal framework of the three Agreements administered by the World Forum;
(c) Drafting agendas and reports of the sessions;
(d) Ensuring timely follow up to GRPE sessions.

The selected candidate will work for Solid Waste Management Project including Social Waste Management Centre and Promotion of Waste Separation at Source in Battambang City, which was set up to provide the better working/living condition for waste pickers who are working directly at Battam-bang Dumpsite, to support local government and national greenhouse gas reduction program by convert organic from dump site into composting plant and improve agriculture soil by compost ap-plication.
Salary range: 300$ – 400$

•    University graduated in environmental engineering or similar;

Job: Interviewers/Translators needed for KAP study in Takeo

We are looking for TWO interviewers/translators with good English skills to work on a farmers behavioural study in Takeo province. The study is in collaboration with the National Veterinary Research Institute (NaVRI)
