Financial controller

Artisans d’Angkor is a Cambodian limited company which aims at providing a sustainable and fair development for arts and crafts in Siem Reap province. The company employs over 1,000 people and wish to expand his commercial activities throughout Cambodia and internationally.

In order to maintain company expansions, we are looking for a qualified Cambodian national (male or female) for the position of Financial Controller to provide management support to Finance Department and various department heads on sound financial control and effectively implementation of Sage systems. The position will be based at Siem Reap Province.

Responsibilities:

Work under direct supervision of Finance Department and under technical guidance of Secretary General and in close cooperation with IT Department on maintaining and implementing the Sage Accpac accounting systems.
Design and develop company financial statements, management reports, and other reports,
Analyze financial and management reports
Provide routine technical support and solutions to Sage users on GL and sub-ledgers applications,
Perform, on a weekly basis, reviews of accounting systems to ensure entries were correctly input into the Sage,
Perform operational and financial audits to assess internal control structure and evaluate compliance with policies and procedures and company objectives, specifically survey functions and activities to determine the nature of operations and adequacy of controls,
Recommend efficient, effective alternatives to management to improve operating performance while maintaining an adequate control environment,
Evaluate the adequacy of corrective actions taken for satisfactory dispositions of audit findings,
Update financial control policy and procedures.

Requirements:

At least completed BBA specialized in Accounting, experienced financial control and SAGE ACCPAC implementation, minimum 3 years handling GL and sub-ledgers applications,
Good command of English, written and spoken,
Good communication skills,
Proactive, open minded, honest, friendly, reliable, and self confident character.
