Investco Holding Group: Internal Auditor

Desired Candidate Profile:

- At least 5 years of audit experience.

- Strong understanding of internal control, risk assessment, business process and operational auditing

- At least bachelor degree in auditing, finance, CPA, business administration or management

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.

- Open, analytical skills, critical thinking, and performance-driven

- Fluency in English and/or French language

- Able to use office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

Review, appraise & report on the adequacy of the systems of managerial, financial, operational & budgetary control & their reliability in practice including
- The existence/ relevance of established policies, plans & procedures, the extent of compliance with these,
- The appropriateness of organizational, personnel & supervision arrangements
- The extent to which assets & interests are accounted for & safeguarded from losses of all kinds, arising from waste, extravagance, inefficient administration, fraud or other causes
- The appropriateness, reliability & integrity of financial & other management information & the means used to identify, measure, classify, report & act upon that information
- The follow up action taken to remedy previously identified weakness
Develop & implement annual audit plan for Group Companies
Ensure that all relevant activities are subject to periodic audit
Preparation of SOP’s for various operational & functional areas
Develop all necessary internal controls to ensure that financial & operational systems operate effectively & identify potential problems

To carry out debriefs with departmental managers to communicate results of internal audit reviews

Present audit reports to Management to identify areas requiring attention and ensure implementation of any actions agreed.
Carry out ad hoc audit reviews to investigate any area identified by management.
