Desired Candidate Profile:

  • At least 10 years of experience in operations/ plant or production management
  • Ph.D / M.Pharm / B.Pharm / Engineer / Chemist/ Biologist/ Microbiologist
  • Experienced in effective management of R&D, Production, Q.C. & Engineering & Regulations affairs and capable of maintaining highest Quality Standards.
  • Well conversant with all technical aspects of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Well versed with GMP and MoH regulations
  • Knowledge of ERP, TPM and other production systems is a plus.
  • Leadership, Managerial and Communication skills are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent in problem solving, analytical skills
  • Fluency in English and/or French language
  • Able to use office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, etc.)

Key Responsibilities

  • Demand fulfillment by establishing order-receipt process.
  • Produce products that meet or exceed customer expectations by formulating and installing good manufacturing practices; enforcing quality standards and processes; improving products, processes, and procedures; enhancing application of human resources; establishing production planning and scheduling systems and procedures; enforcing requirements with suppliers.
  • Achieve financial objectives by recommending objectives; developing and monitoring budgets; controlling and reducing costs; optimizing use of plant assets.
  • Provide materials and supplies by developing material movement, storage, and purchasing systems; controlling and protecting inventory.
  • Explore new corporate opportunities by studying plant purchases, expansion of facilities, new plants, and other production arrangements; evaluating options; recommending course of action.
  • Maintain operations staff job results by recruiting and selecting key managers; coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Comply with legal requirements by enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team effort by offering information and opinion as a member of senior management; integrating objectives with other functions; accomplishing special projects as needed.
