JOB: Telcotech need 3 IP engineers and 3 Transmission Engineers (GEE and GIC)

Telcotech need 3 IP engineers and 3 Transmission Engineers.

Please find the job descriptions as below:

• 24/7 shift IP network first level IP network support

• Manage calls and trouble ticketing

• Manage customer communication,

• Perform network monitoring, alert, maintenance and daily operations

• Diagnose and troubleshoot first level IP network issues

• Assist customers in network issue diagnostics and troubleshooting

• Degree in IT/Software engineer or equivalent.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially in Cambodian environment

• Possess good background and hands-on experience with IP addressing, Subnetting, Ethernet, E1 and POS interfaces, 802.1Q Vlan, ISIS, BGP

• Possess fluent understanding of ping, traceroute, routing policy, prefix filtering, route announcements, IP security

• Possess a proactive and positive attitude

• Familiar with Cisco routers, firewalls and related software

• Keen learners of IT level knowledge

• Fresh graduates may also apply

operation and maintenance of fiber transmission network,includes service delivary and service assurance,performance management

troubleshooting and fault identification of network problems, and fast rectification by coordinating with vendors/suppliers/field engineers/contractors

Interaction with the NOC and ITMCs of other operators(domestic and international) .Escalation of problems. Documentation of Events

O&M of NMS, equipment in NOC,ITMC

Basic understanding of power systems

IP , VOIP network monitoring

Knowledge of Optical fiber testing, and test instruments

Knowledge of Transmission technologies, SDH,PDH,DWDM,

Experience in using PDH&SDH test instruments

Familiarity with transmission network alarms, NMS, troubleshooting

Good technical communication and coordination skills. Fluency in English.Team player

Basic Networking , IP,Internet knowledge.

2 years in long distance fiber networks and transmission links (SDH) , provisioning and troubleshooting. Experience Transmission NOC or ITMC. Networking,IP, ISP experience desirable.
